At Chatlon, we prioritize user safety and community standards. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior or content, you can report or block users using the same button. Here’s how to do it:
-
Navigate to the User’s Profile:
- While in a chat or browsing profiles, find the user you want to report or block.
-
Click the Report/Block Button:
- On their profile page, click the Report/Block button, usually located near the user’s information.
-
Provide Details:
- If you choose to report the user, select the reason for your report from the dropdown menu (e.g., harassment, inappropriate content).
- You may also add additional comments to provide context for your report.
-
Confirm Your Action:
- If blocking, a confirmation prompt may appear. Confirm that you want to block the user.
- If reporting, click Submit to send your report to the Chatlon moderation team.
-
Review Your Actions:
- Your report will be reviewed, and appropriate actions will be taken as necessary.
- Once blocked, the user will be completely restricted from messaging or interacting with you in any way.
Important Notes:
- Anonymity: Reports are confidential, and the reported user will not know who submitted the report.
- Unblocking a User: If you decide to unblock a user, go to your profile settings and navigate to the Blocked Users section. Select the user you want to unblock and click Unblock.
